About the Act

SPONSOR / PRESENTER :

Join us on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 1 PM EDT for the next edition of Book Talk, featuring a conversation between Paris-based French author and politician Shannon Seban and FSWC's Senior Writer and Editor Robert Sarner.

They will discuss Seban’s provocative non-fiction book, Française, Juive et Alors? (French, Jewish and So What?) and her personal journey as a Jewish elected official increasingly targeted by antisemites and her decision, in the face of death threats, to courageously fight the alarming anti-Jewish scourge in France and beyond.

“Given the current reality, I’m concerned for my safety,” she recently told The Times of Israel. “I’m aware of the risk and I’m cautious, but I don’t want to be put under police protection on a daily basis. I also don’t want to cry that I’m a victim. I’m not. This is a fight and I’m combative.”This online event is free to attend.
