honoured to host Ally Action Hub as a way for organizations to share events and opportunities
with the public, and we want to do so in a way that supports and protects everyone involved.
Your Security Matters Most
When you post an event on Ally Action Hub, please remember that you are responsible for your
event security and safety planning. Because publicizing community events can sometimes
create risks, we encourage you to think carefully about what information to share publicly (such
as exact locations or access details).
Reach out for Support
If you need advice or support with security, we strongly encourage you to reach out to your
local police service and, if appropriate, your local Jewish Federation or communal security
agency. They have the expertise to help ensure your event is both safe and welcoming.
Our Commitment
Upstanders Canada does not provide or arrange security for events listed on Ally Action Hub,
and by submitting an event you agree that responsibility for safety rests with the organizer. We
also reserve the right to decline or remove postings that raise safety concerns.
We share this in a spirit of care and community. Together, we can make sure that the events
posted on the Ally Action Hub are not only meaningful but also safe for everyone who takes
part.
